Indeed Flex is a leading job marketplace platform focused on temporary staffing across the US and UK. As part of the Offering & Matching team, I contribute to the core logic that powers job discovery and fulfilment. As part of the senior group, I actively contribute to architectural decisions, documentation, and sharing team knowledge. My work primarily focuses on backend systems built with Ruby on Rails, while also utilising technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, RSpec, React, Datadog, and Redash to ensure performance, scalability, and observability.
I began as a Senior Software Engineer in Toptal’s Talent Network, delivering efficient, reliable solutions for client initiatives and evaluating strategies and technologies. I then joined a core team as Staff Engineer, contributing to company-wide functionality, security, code quality, architecture, performance analysis, and technical planning. As Team Lead and later Engineering Manager, I supported engineers, represented the team with stakeholders, coordinated cross-functional work, and made strategic technical decisions. I finished as a Staff Software Engineer in the Talent Network, again delivering high-quality solutions for top-level companies with full autonomy, clear communication, estimation, and technical documentation.

Development of a complete data centre management solution (concurrentCOMMAND), built on a hardened 1U server appliance, that enhances staff productivity, maximises system uptime and drives cluster efficiency. The product interfaces with facilities management infrastructure, rack-based devices and IT systems in order to identify a wide range of energy-saving strategies across the data centre.

Research project focused on the implementation of a software system to support learning of Castilian for foreigners via the recording and subsequent phonetic quality assessment. The whole process was raised from the implementation of an RIA (Rich Internet Application) with Applet technology that provides the Java programming language. Also implemented a web server that housed the core application, all media resources and all contents that since didactic departamenteo were deemed necessary as lessons, levels, etc..
